How to set up your Jira Cloud/Jira on-premise integration

Jira Integration

1 - Login to your Autobahn account at https://autobahn.security/

2 - Navigate to Account Settings, and go to the Integrations tab as shown in the screenshot below

3 - Click Jira Software

4 - First, select which Jira system your organization is using, either Jira Cloud, or Jira on-premise (Jira Server)

No special user permissions are required for the Jira account used for the Autobahn integration

5.1 - Jira Cloud: add your Jira URL (for example https://autobahn.atlassian.net), the email of the account you use - or that you created for this integration - and finally the API token. You can create a Jira API token following these instructions: https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens

Click Next after you added all details

5.2 - Jira on-premise (Jira Server): add your local Jira Server URL (for example https://jira.autobahn.security), the email of the account you use - or that you created for this integration - and finally the password of that email account

Click Next after you added all details

6 - After you clicked Next, you get a message that the Jira integration has been successfully saved. However, there is one more required step; selecting the default Jira Project Autobahn issues are pushed into

When you manually push Autobahn data to Jira from the Autobahn dashboard, you can still overwrite the default Project you selected here

7 - While selecting a Project is required, this is not the case for the selection of a default assignee. If you want to do this, tick the checkbox and select your default Jira assignee that will be assigned to Autobahn data pushed into Jira. If not, please click Save Integration and you are done!

8 - Click Save Integration when you are done. Good job!
